life has lately been get up, work, talk to banks, talk to realtor, talk to rental companies, pack, move, sleep, wake up, fight with girlfriend, sit, sleep, wake up again.

as shown in the picture above, the admiral and i were hanging out on the couch tonight. she is extremely active and likes to dangle from one of my wrists and try to hide inside the couch, which she is forbidden to do.

i’m so tired.

so the girlfriend secured us a new apartment in the kind of shady, definitely not ideal apartment complex by my old college. i suppose it was inevitable that as a long time resident of Portland on the south side i would eventually find myself living in these apartments.

of course since the plan is to buy a house as soon as possible, much things are going into storage right now which means flipping out and boxing stuff up even though we have until late June to move out.

and if you’re going to the liquor store to get boxes, you might as well get liquor. danish liquor of anise and carroway! served ice cold! it was either this or cheap absinthe and if i buy absinthe i just end up mixing it with diet mountain dew, getting shitfaced, and not getting anything done.

we are for real getting evicted!!! need to be all moved out by june 20! happy birthday to me. cat has been working hard to find us an apartment to move into while i have been working hard finding us a house to buy.

i was planning on going to los angeles on vacation this week but since i’m going to be spending tens of thousands of dollars on some kind of house we opted for a tiny vacation. we went up the Gorge to go see the Maryhill museum of art and CRAPPY STONEHENGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That Stonehenge is all crumbly shitty concrete, I was rubbing bits of it away with my hands. I made no sacrifices! So sad.

after coming back from our vacation i was so sad i couldn’t get off the couch for an entire day, and i drew these things:
